A Community Tradition in the Making
The Third Annual SLA Kids Day took place at the beautiful Fifty Point Conservation Area, and by all accounts, it was a huge success! With over 176 kids and their families joining us for a fun-filled day, it’s clear this event is quickly becoming a cherished tradition in our community.
Spearheaded by the dedicated volunteers of the SLA Fishing Club, Kids Day is an opportunity for the next generation to connect with nature, learn the basics of fishing, and create lasting memories with friends and family.

Catch and release best practices
Water safety essentials
Canoeing with instructors
